In order to strengthen your base level, you should join a reputed institution that is renowned for its quality teaching and also known for its students having done splendidly in all the levels. Once you’re on it, there’s no turning back.
•  Stay focused:-  Learning anything new when you’re an adult has its own implications. Many can’t take them and drop the idea of learning. Japanese may not have any similarity with English but that doesn’t make it a language which can’t be learnt by people speaking English. We can look it in this way. If Japanese can learn English, we can also learn their language. The key here is to remain focused and not get diverted by negative thoughts.
• Speak more often in Japanese:-  When you’re in the mode of learning Japanese, try and speak that language for most of the times. This way you can understand what are they speaking and how you should pronounce the words and not sound funny while speaking with Japanese.
